• Temperature required to pop popcorns: T = 150 C
• Power of two heating lights: P = 2.8 * 0.3 * 2 = 1.68 W
• Time required to pop popcorns at a room temperature of 50 C with 5 g of oil:
  d * 5 * s * (T - 50) / P = 4970 secs = 82 minutes.

And we haven't considered heat lost to surroundings in 82 minutes.
